Greg has over 22 years’ experience in research, pavement design and project management. With a comprehensive understanding of aggregate testing and methodologies. Greg applies a ‘whole-of-life cost benefits’ approach to pavement design. He engages in extensive research to achieve outcomes that exceed stated contract economical and failure risk requirements.
To develop robust design criteria for granular and subgrade materials, Greg uses an array of tests including repeated load tri-axial testing, falling weight deflectometer and fatigue testing on stabilised aggregate beams. In terms of materials testing, Greg has considerable expertise on material resilient modulus, or stiffness, and rut depth resistance.
Collaboration is a focus for Greg in achieving pavement design improvements and innovations. He has a proven background in working with consultants and in alliance models to achieve best practice pavement design and consistency of standards.
