Kia ora koutou As we celebrate Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori, I would like acknowledge all my colleagues from Road Science who are - learning, listening, singing, reading, writing and/or speaking Te Reo and I would like to share one of my favourite quotes. "Whaowhia te kete mātauranga." "Fill the basket of knowledge." This was explained to me as when you stop learning, you will stop growing. Becoming mature not only entails your age, but it should also speak highly of how much you have learned through the years. Seize every chance to learn. Read a book. Listen to people. Learn Te Reo.
