FlexiPlus Bind is a high-performance polymer-modified binder formulated to enhance both fatigue resistance and rutting performance in asphalt mixes. The EcoBlend variation replaces a portion of the virgin polymer with recycled rubber.

Traditional recycled tyre rubber, known as crumb rubber, is produced by grinding end-of-life tyres into fine, granular particles. However, in New Zealand road construction, crumb rubber can present operational risks, to overcome these challenges, Road Science has opted to integrate devulcanised rubber into our FlexiPlus Bind | EcoBlend formulation. This material undergoes an additional processing step to break down the rubber to a form that can blend effectively with bitumen and eliminating the risks associated with conventional crumb rubber.

Engineered for long-life pavement solutions, FlexiPlus Bind | EcoBlend delivers performance well beyond that of conventional bitumen-based binders.
